Who Told You?

Hey Sis,

It’s been way too long.

We’ve been holding onto this blog but thought it might be nice for the start of the New Year. A refresh to kick off our 2025!

We as believers know that the Word of God is always our source of pure truth.

There is so much noise going on in the world and it has caused different doctrines, different ideas, and worldly emotions to become common among believers - I’m just trying to find out who told you it was okay?

Nothing alters the word of God and the kingdom of God is not a democracy - we don’t have a vote.

Our feelings don’t dictate truth. Our opinion does not dictate truth. Our thoughts, ideas, and perspectives do not dictate truth.

Galatians 3:1 - O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

This blog is to dispel some of the erroneous ways that have become common amongst those proclaiming salvation.

Let’s get into it.

Who Told You…

Who told you to follow the heavens for a sign? That worshiping the sun, moon, and stars is okay? That using stones, or tarot cards, or incense is unto behavior of a follower of Christ. (Deuteronomy 17:2-5; Deuteronomy 18:10-12 KJV) This is witchcraft. The Bible says to drive these things out from before thee.

Sorry to tell you sis, your birthday does not have an effect on your personality. The spirit of Christ should dictate your character.

Your date of birth does not tell you who you get along with, or who you should be in a relationship with. This is an abomination unto God.

Who told you the belief of God alone saves you from hell and damnation?  Your belief that God is real does not keep you from the responsibility of responding to His mercy.

Let me be more clear.

James 2:19-21
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Saying you believe is not the end. You must have corresponding actions to prove that you truly believe. You have to do what God says. (John 14:15 KJV)

We can not do whatever we want, act however we want, say whatever we want, be whoever we want, post whatever we want, and think that we will still get into Heaven.

You may not like it, you may not want to, it may be hard, you may cry, you may be angry - but whatever God says for you to do is good and is right. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Everything Christ instructs you to do - is for a better end.  And you MUST do it - or perish.

Who told you that time passing reduces the standard? (Hebrews 13:8) DEEP SIGH.

It is so important to understand that Gods patience, mercy, and grace do not mean He will not judge - and it certainly does not mean acceptance of sinful deeds or behavior. I beg of you, do not mistake the opportunity (of time) that God provides for you to cry out, repent, and obey as Him condoning unrighteousness!

…and ERA/Seasons do not change the standard of God. Holiness is the standard. The word of God is the instruction - and the spirit of God is to enable us to walk according to that instruction….and it is required. NOT OPTIONAL.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Who told you that walking with Christ would be popular and there would be all these people with you, excited for you? Walking like you? That it would be easy?

EEEeee

First…Sis, let’s just get comfortable. You are going to be “the other.” Resign yourself to know you are ALWAYS going to look foolish to people. We are set apart.

We don’t look like them, sound like them, walk like them, act like them (them = the world). Honestly, If it’s too many people hanging around comfortably - we may need to check ourselves. Sometimes walking with Christ means walking alone. Few be it that find the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13-14).

There is a reproach that comes with standing with Christ. People will dislike you AND NOT KNOW WHY! It’s okay, Sis… we know it’s the Christ in you. John 15:18 KJV

1 Peter 2:9 KJV -

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

This walk is hard. We are literally at war, on guard, every day. Idk if y’all noticed… people are looking for convenience and ease, are very self-serving, very soft and emotional, impatient…very desiring of things to be handed to them.

Matthew 11:12

12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

At the risk of being repetitive…this is not a soft walk. We soldiers.

2 Timothy 2:3 -
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Okay…Last one!

Who told you that you could change the hierarchical order that God has set? This one finna STING. Listen.

1 Corinthians 11: 1-3

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

God does nothing by accident, and his design is perfect. WHO TOLD YOU you could be above the man? and I mean this sincerely - think back to the root… where did that idea derive from? If it was not scripture - it was a lie. Let God be true and every man be a liar.

Romans 13: 1-2

13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

WE ARE IN SOME DANGEROUS TIMES. Period.

If you are not found in Jesus - striving to walk with and be like Jesus - under the protection of Jesus…YOU ARE IN DANGER.

and I’m telling you - now is not the time to be out here playing without safety. We love yall - and it would not be right for us to know the truth and not tell you.
